Chief Customer Officer
As Chief Customer Officer, Trond Sorensen serves as the voice of the customer, ensuring that Onyx continues to be a valuable partner to our customers by solving their problems and providing world-class service. Trond brings strong strategic insight and experience to the management team, as well as deep product knowledge and a strong ability to turn challenges into solutions.
Trond is the co-founder of Net Trans Services, starting the company in 1999. Over the years, he has held many positions within the company including Chief Sales Officer, CTO, and CEO. A native Norwegian, Trond moved to the states in 2013 to lead the Net Trans launch in the U.S. market. After the acquisition by Onyx, he moved from New Jersey to become part of the Onyx management team in Dallas.
Prior to Onyx, Trond held various executive and board positions in several international IT companies. He holds a bachelor of science in electrical power engineering from Telemark University College, Norway. As a trained engineer, and with and extensive commercial background, he has a great understanding of the customer journey at Onyx.
He currently resides in Plano, Texas with his wife.
