New data highlights regional shifts in hotel commission trends, with luxury and upper-upscale segments driving performance.

DALLAS, TX – October 28, 2025 – Onyx CenterSource, a leading global provider of B2B payments and business intelligence for the hospitality industry, today released its Q3 2025 Quarterly Check-In report. This latest edition, powered by OnyxInsights, benchmarks global and regional hotel commission trends, offering a data-driven look at the performance landscape between hotels and travel agencies.

Drawing from proprietary data across more than 150,000 hotels worldwide, the Q3 2025 report provides timely analysis of key metrics such as Commissionable ADR, Commission per Room Night, and Average Days to Pay. The findings show a market of contrasts, with some regions seeing robust growth, while others navigate shifts in booking behavior.

“This quarter’s analysis highlights a dynamic global market, with APAC continuing its healthy quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year performance, while EMEA saw stronger luxury travel demand in Q3 2025 compared to the same period in 2024,” said Akshath Dhar, Director of Business Data Analytics at Onyx CenterSource. “Our data also reveals evolving trends in payment cycles and commissionable rates, providing valuable insights for hotels and travel agencies to better navigate these shifts and identify new opportunities for success.”

Key highlights from the Q3 2025 report include:

  • EMEA experienced strong rate growth and higher commissions, with an 8.5% rise in Commissionable ADR to $354, reflecting stronger luxury travel demand across the region. This suggests a shift toward the luxury segment, even as GDS agency share softened.
  • Asia Pacific continued to perform steadily, maintaining its healthy quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year growth. Commissionable ADR increased 3.6% to $248, while a marginal improvement in the pending room night ratio signaled consistent payment processes.
  • North America showed modest movement, with a slight increase in average days to pay but an encouraging 2.1 percentage point improvement in the pending room night ratio, indicating faster processing.
  • Oceania delivered mixed results, balancing a 3.5% increase in Commissionable ADR with a decline in GDS agency share and slower payment cycles following its seasonal peak.

The Quarterly Check-In reflects Onyx’s continued investment in data-driven intelligence, giving hotels and agencies a sharper lens into commission performance and evolving market dynamics.
