Jennifer Sampson

Chief Operating Officer

As a 20-year veteran of the company, Jennifer Sampson serves as chief operating officer for Onyx CenterSource overseeing teams in Dallas, Seville, Tønsberg, Manila and London. Most recently, Jennifer served as the senior vice president of product for Pegasus Financial Services. Prior to that position, she was senior director of products. She has also held positions as product director, product manager, operations manager and implementation manager.

Jennifer began her career in the hospitality industry working in various roles at the ANA Hotel in Washington, D.C. While pursuing her MBA at Syracuse University, she did an internship at Cadaret, Grant & Company in Syracuse, New York as an independent consultant with Orange Consulting Group. Prior to her time in Syracuse, she was a lead system analyst at Visual One.

Jennifer earned an MBA in technology and supply chain management from Syracuse University, as well as a bachelor of science in marketing and business administration from Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia. In addition to being certified in agile development methodology, she serves as a committee member of the Hotel Electronic Distribution National Association (HEDNA) payment and site selection committees.

Why I love the travel industry:

“I initially became interested in the hospitality industry with my first job after college at a hotel in Washington, D.C.  That experience gave me a lot of exposure to all of the workings of a hotel, and I found it fascinating.  I then started travelling for various jobs, and I loved exploring new places and cultures, as well as meeting people from around the globe. I was then fortunate enough to come to work for Onyx where I have the opportunity to combine my interest in the hospitality business with my love to travel.  The travel industry just makes sense to me.”
