Senior VP of Commercial and Strategic Relationships
Tony Wagner joined Onyx CenterSource in 2020 as Senior Vice President of Commercial and Strategic Relationships. His 20+ years of experience in the travel and meeting and events industries have centered around propelling global commercial growth, driving operational excellence, and leveraging data to identify opportunities for customer success.
Tony joins Onyx from CWT where he most recently served as Vice President/Head, Americas and South Pacific for CWT Meetings and Events. Throughout his tenure at CWT, Tony held a number of commercial roles, and he was responsible for the successful internal start-up of the CWT Meetings and Events business unit in the Americas, developing it into a market leader and achieving over 400% growth over a decade.
Having developed his career in commercial operations for one of the leading travel management companies, Tony joins Onyx with a unique perspective in support of Onyx’s go-to-market strategies for emerging products, and the development of our commercial strategy for the entire Onyx portfolio of products.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and has completed the Carlson Executive Leadership Program and the CWT Executive Leadership Program. He has served four terms on the Minnetonka, MN City Council and currently serves on the National Board of Directors for the University of Minnesota Alumni Association.
